The city whose heart and immediate peripheries are getting increasingly choked with apartment blocks and a clutter of houses is now offering luxury residences on the outskirts. The green and unpolluted environs outside the city belt is fast turning a hub for those willing to shell out extra lakhs for a life of luxury. A bit of green cover left untouched in the reserved space of Kondapur-Kothaguda has caught the imagination of some developers who have announced luxury villas incorporating all the elements of nature. And of course, it has successfully caught the attention of IT crowd and NRIs, the targeted group. Lakes, green walkways, a bit of a rocky Deccan terrain left in original shape, tree canopies and set in these idyllic setting will be these villas. Another favoured location for developers getting busy with villa proposals is the vast acreages beyond Gopanpally, Vattinagulpally and the stretch towards Shamshabad. Some parts of Kompally and Medchal too come across as perfect location for such luxury dwellings and quite understandably are lapped up by developers. The other choice areas are Bachupally which has some proximity to the city IT hubs and Dundigal, the verdant stretch across the bustling city limits. Most of these ventures promise quality construction by way of super deluxe specifications, teak doors and windows, a proper drive-in complete with porch, a garage and a host of other amenities in bath, kitchen and dining areas. The projects come across as gated community with a perimeter wall and manned entry and exit points assuring to envelope the dwellers with a sense of security. These projects are mainly promoted through the Internet targeting the NRIs. And how much does all these facilities cost? Depends on the location and the facilities offered. The individual units usually are being booked in a price range that start with Rs.70 lakh and upwards. HUDA villas Meanwhile, the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA) too is working on a proposal to develop villas around Budwel close to the water bodies of Himayathsagar and Osmansagar. Officials say the proposal was actively pursued and the project of luxury villas for NRIs could come up on a 300-acre site. |
